Year three pupils from River Mead School, who read every week to Melksham’s deputy mayor cllr Sue Mortimer, presented her with thank you messages and Easter pictures at the end of term, before they left to enjoy the Easter holidays.
Cllr Mortimer said, “It really should be me thanking the children for the beautiful reading they do for me each week. I love listening to them. It is my favourite time of the week. To all the pupils, enjoy the Easter holidays and I look forward to hearing you read some more next term.”
