During the weekend of Friday 6th and Sunday 8th November unknown person/s have gone on a criminal damage spree.
In the areas of Foresters Park Road, Brecon Close and Tower Road, a number of residents have had their vehicles scratched and wing mirrors broken whilst parked overnight.
PC Fulbrook-Smith said, “This not only has an unnecessary cost implication for the owners but is an act of mindless anti-social behaviour, demonstrating lack of respect for other peoples’ property.”
During the same period a local business man in Tower Road has had his works van broken into, and carpentry tools to the value of £5,000 were stolen. There is no suggestion that these incidents are linked as the crimes are very different.
PC Fulbrook-Smith is appealing for any witnesses or information that may lead to a named suspect/s to come forward by contacting 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
