Later this year, there will be a concert at St. Katharine’s Church in Holt featuring the Warminster Military Wives choir and other artists, around the same time a poppy cascade will be draped from the church tower.
The concert will be held on Sunday 3rd November at 3pm, a few days after the poppy cascade is hung from the church tower. The cascade has been handcrafted by the women of Holt and currently contains over 6,000 poppies.
“The cascade is growing and is now in its third beautiful section, with still more poppies being made by the wonderful ladies,” said a member of the group Helen Gray.
“Tickets for this exciting concert will go on sale in August at The Premier Store, Holt. All profits will go to The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.”
