MELKSHAM Town Football Club has announced an exciting line-up of friendly matches for their pre-season.
Club chairman Darren Perrin reports, “Melksham Town FC are delighted to announce that we have been able to attract Forest Green Rovers (Champions of the EFL Division 2), Bristol Rovers (promoted from EFL Division 2) and Swindon Town (play-off semi finalist from Division 2) to the Oakfield Stadium for pre-season. All three clubs have promised to send their full first team squads.
“Forest Green Rovers will be the first to visit on Tuesday 28th June with a 7.45pm kick-off. Bristol Rovers will then follow on Friday 1st July with a 7pm kick-off. Swindon Town then follow the following day, Saturday 2nd July, with a 3pm kick-off.
“This will be a great opportunity for the community of Melksham to see Football League teams in the town, especially successful local sides. Tickets are currently on sale for these games, and for any supporter who would like to watch ALL three games, there is a special ticket price, which can be sorted by collecting a ticket from the club from Monday 6th June, or on the day of the Forest Green Rovers game.”
