BEANACRE/Melksham Cricket Club Youth Section recently held their presentation when over 50 children and parents gathered to celebrate another productive season.
Club secretary Andy Footner thanked all the volunteers for all their hard work throughout the season. He also praised the children for their efforts during the season. Club president, Phil McMullen, presented attendance medals to all the children who had taken part in the U9 minis programme.
He then presented the following awards to the U13 players who had played in the Bath League this season: Bowling Award – Oliver Pearson. Batting Award – Josh Stanley. This was followed by a presentation of the Owen Lewis Memorial Trophy for an outstanding contribution to the U13 Squad with both bat and ball to Dominic Shearn and Josh Stanley
