Melksham parkrun is hosting a Macmillan Coffee morning on Saturday 27th September at the Adventure Centre in the King George V Park.
The coffee morning will run from 9.15am to 11.15am, helping to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
Encouraging people to come along, local resident Terri Welch said, “If you stand on the balcony of the Adventure Centre, you can watch the park runners one way and the canoeists towards the river. Every Saturday morning the park is full of people enjoying the fresh air; around 150+ people take part in parkrun and the river is alive with young people enjoying themselves.
“So come along, help raise money for cancer relief and enjoy a coffee or tea with a view.”
