Ever had problem hair? Can’t do a thing with it? Feel like it has a life of its own? That’s nothing compared to the problem that Rapunzel has. After the sell- out show of Alice in Wonderland last year, Proteus Theatre Company are back in Seend with Rapunzel, the classic Grimms’ fairy tale, as it has never been told before.
This is the story of a young girl with an overbearing mother, a prince of a boyfriend with vertigo, and very, very badly behaved hair. A hair-raising, foot-tapping, high-flying ‘wash and blow dry’ of a show, with music, puppets, gravity defying actors and a guarantee of bad hair days. Suitable for ages 5 to 105!
Proteus is an award-winning theatre company, resident in Basingstoke, with over 30 years’ experience creating quality work and are well known for their adaptations of classic tales for family audiences, but don’t just take our word for it, come along to Seend and see it for yourself.
