Melksham Foodbank would like to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to everyone who continues to make donations, week after week.
Sue Henderson, on behalf of Melksham Foodbank said, “This enables us to help many families who may struggle.
“We want to say thank you to Asda who have allowed us to have a collection point at their store for the past three years. Unfortunately, due to a change in company policy, they are no longer able to allow us to do this.
“We will, however, still have collection points at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, who continue to support us, as well as St.Damian’s surgery, Queensway Chapel Nursery and most of the churches in town.
“If you, or anyone you know, needs support from the Foodbank by receiving a food parcel, we would be only too happy to help. You do need to be referred by an agent…this could be a church leader, social worker, housing officer, GP, school, CAB etc. Melksham is such a generous town….if you need help….please ask!”
