THERE’S an exciting line-up planned for the weeks ahead at Melksham’s Assembly Hall, with a host of live music acts lined up to entertain audiences.
Award-winning ABBA tribute, Waterloo Live, will be performing on Saturday 19th February. This ABBA tribute is one of the very best and most sought-after out there, combining stunning vocals with high quality live musicianship and perfect harmonies.
Bolstered by meticulously authentic replica costumes, mesmerizing costume changes and a generous helping of audience participation, these guys have clearly put in the hours to faithfully recreate the joyous atmosphere and sizzling energy of those classic ABBA performances.
From Waterloo to Voyage and everything in between, this show will have Dancing Queens and Fernandos partying to some of the best, most life-affirming pop music ever created.
The Carpenters Experience will be at the Assembly Hall on Saturday 5th March. The UK’s leading Carpenters tribute, The Carpenters Experience are led by the incredible voice of Maggie Nestor which, backed by some top class musicians, conjures up the power and beauty of one of the sixties’ most beloved groups like no one else.
Expect an unforgettable show packed with some all-time classics including We’ve Only Just Begun, Close to You, Top of the World, Rainy Days & Mondays and many more.
Complete Madness are up next on Saturday 12th March. Taking you one step beyond and sure to get the whole room bouncing, Complete Madness are the UK’s number 1 tribute to the Nutty Boys, bringing all the fun, energy and sharp suits of the real thing to each and every show.
Having now enjoyed more than 25 years together, these boys play all of Madness’ biggest tunes spanning the band’s entire career, plus a few by The Specials, The Beat and the like. They’re also known for throwing in a couple of Ska’d-up versions of recent hits from the likes of Bruno Mars and Paulo Nutini too. So pop on those chequered ties and wraparound shades and step on down!
