A new Whitley social gathering for adults looking to meet different people and enjoy interesting conversation is launching this month.
The Curious Club will hold its first event at The Pear Tree Inn on Sunday 20th September from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
The group aims to move away from small talk and create an environment where attendees can have meaningful discussions.
Following an initial launch in Derry Hill during the summer, the club is now expanding to Whitley.
Attendees can arrive alone or with others, and there is no expectation to have prior knowledge on any subject to take part.
A spokesperson for The Curious Club said, “No experts. No lectures. No pressure. Just curious people and good company.”
The first gathering is free to attend, but advance booking is required. Regular meetings will then continue at The Pear Tree Inn.
