YEAR One pupils at Bowerhill Primary School have enjoyed an African dance workshop taught by Atara and Mali.
The school report, “Atara told an African story and then taught us dance moves to go with the story.
“Mali played the African drums to accompany the dancing. It was very energetic and great fun. We learnt lots about Africa and some brilliant dance moves.”
Pupils in Reception at Bowerhill Primary School enjoyed a dress up pirate day to kick start their topic on pirates. The school report, “Everyone came in fantastic costumes and the children took part in lots of pirate activities from pirate maths, walking the plank and making their own pirate treasure maps.”
