SWINDON Retired Greyhound Trust held an, ‘Afternoon Tea and Stroll’ event in Melksham raising £157.16 for the charity.
Ann Stanford who organised the event said, “We had a lovely turnout of greyhounds and several other breeds who all enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the river Avon to the nature reserve and back through Church walk to finish with delicious homemade cakes & scones at Simon’s CJ’s cafe.
“Our sincere thanks to Simon who worked so very hard and helped us raise a fantastic £157.16.”
