One Voice Community Choir will have its second official performance on Sunday 4th June. The Melksham branch is one of five One Voice groups in Wiltshire and Somerset and was formed in January 2016.
This will be a full concert from a repertoire built up over the past months – expect to hear popular songs ranging from 1930s to the present day, with plenty of recognisable 60s and 70s hits.
One Voice is based on good, uplifting songs that everyone loves to sing – with a strong emphasis on fun and the social aspect.
There are no auditions and an ability to read music is not required. The local meeting takes place on Thursday evenings at the hall of the United Church. Anyone interested in joining the choir should contact Lee Ingram on the numbers below.
‘An Afternoon of Favourite Music’ is at The Riverside Club, Melksham, on 4th June at 3pm. Tickets are £7 to include a buffet, available from choir members or 01373 825058 / 07766 244321.
