
OWNERS of The White Hart, Atworth, are celebrating raising £25,893 in six years for local charities and organisations.
Nathan and Kirsty Cortilla raised £3,911.21 during 2015 to bring the total raised near to £26,000.
The couple organise various events including monthly quizzes and raffles. They also hold a mini music festival each year which is very popular. The event raises money for Dorothy House Hospice and in 2015 raised £775.
Landlady Kirsty Cortilla said, “We are very proud of our charity work for local charities and village organisations, it is great to give back to the community.
“Thank you to everyone that has helped us raise this amazing amount.”
