OWNERS of The White Hart, Atworth, are celebrating raising £30,000 in seven years for local charities and organisations.
Nathan and Kirsty Cortilla raised £4,172.62 during 2016 to bring the total raised to £30,065.
Last year, the couple raised money for local charities and organisations such as Wiltshire Mind, Dorothy House Hospice, Hope For Tomorrow, Atworth Youth Club and Wiltshire Air Ambulance by holding various events including monthly quizzes and raffles. They also hold a mini music festival each year which is very popular. The event raises money for Dorothy House Hospice and in 2016 raised £1,175 – £400 more than the year before.
Landlady Kirsty Cortilla said, “Well done and thank you to all who have helped raise this incredible amount.”
