Autoline Service Station on Spa Road, Melksham, have been awarded the highest standard in service and customer care by Wiltshire Trading Standards.
Autoline is a family run and owned business which has been running in Spa Road for over 60 years and prides itself on its high standards of customer satisfaction.
By voluntarily entering into the “Buy With Confidence (BWC)” scheme, Autoline Service Station has the official recognition by Wiltshire Trading Standards that it achieves the highest standards in service and customer care.
Bruce Sanders, who runs the service station with his sister, Di Tandy, said, “We have always tried to emphasise the “service” within our business name as being our strongest accomplishment and asset. We have a friendly and well-motivated team who take pride in their work and customer service.
“I have always known that you could buy with confidence from us but the issuing of the “Buy With Confidence’ certificate informs the public that they are dealing with a reliable and reputable local business.
“Trading Standards conducted a rigorous and detailed audit of the processes and paperwork, as well as a full weights and measure inspection of all our pumps.
“Trading Standards also conducted a review of customer experiences by contacting a selection of the customers for their feedback. After this inspection had been completed, Trading Standards were happy to award the certificate.
“Trading Standards state that unlike other “approval” schemes, BWC is about more than just listing selected feedback. It is the Trading Standards’ administered vetting and monitoring scheme to help give the public the assurance that any business on their list is only there because they deserve to be. That is why BWC is the only trader approval scheme endorsed by Wiltshire Trading Standards.
They say, “The scheme provides customers with a range of businesses which have given a commitment to trade fairly. Every business will have undergone a series of detailed checks by professionally qualified Trading Standards officers before being approved as a member.”
