AN exciting line-up for this summer’s Party in the Park event has been announced which this year features something a bit different – a Big Top Circus!
Party in the Park returns to the King George v Playing Field on Saturday 15th July and as always there’s something for everyone to enjoy, including, for the first time in Party in Park history, a Big Top Circus!
There will be no extra charge to see the circus show but be warned, there are only 2,400 tickets available for four separate 45-minute performances, so be sure to book your tickets as soon as possible. Full details are on page 3.
Happy’s Circus show will feature all the usual circus acts including acrobats, trapeze, clowns and jugglers, but no animals.
As well Happy’s Circus, there will be of course a variety of live music performances at the Party in The Park including the UK’s best AC/DC tribute band, the fantastic Hells Bells who have been performing up and down the country for 19 years. These guys literally rock!
Also headlining the music festival event is emerging local David Bowie tribute band, Rebel Heroes. This five-piece band were formed by talented, experienced and respected musicians who have played Bowie for many years. These guys are definitely not to be missed.
Party in the Park chair Tom Sangster said, “This year’s line-up is so exciting and we’re already looking forward to Saturday 15th July! It’s going to be a great day with entertainment to keep the whole family happy.
“I would encourage people to get their tickets as soon as possible, especially for Happy’s Circus – tickets are limited for the four shows so save disappointment and get yours now.”
There will of course be all the usual favourites that Party in the Park is well known for, including the popular Grand Fireworks Display, live music all day, stalls, food and more. Full details will be announced soon.
“Party in the Park 2017 is set to be a fantastic day of fun for the whole family,” added Tom. “Get your tickets now!”
