Come and hear the candidates who are seeking to be your next MP talk about the big issues that are seldom addressed in the general ‘to and fro’ of the election campaign.
Melksham Energy Group, Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon, Bradford on Avon Fairtrade and Oxfam Groups and West Wilts Amnesty International Group have combined to host a hustings on Friday 10th April at 7.30pm at Melksham Town Hall.
The panel will be Michelle Donelan (Conservative), Duncan Hames (Liberal Democrat), Tina Johnston (Green) Andy Newman (Labour) and Julia Reid (UKIP).
The format will be broadly similar to that of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Any Questions’. Any voter in the Chippenham parliamentary constituency is invited to submit questions by Thursday 2nd April, to climatechampions@ gmail.com or by phoning 07507 782523.
A representative sample (probably between five and seven questions) will be chosen by the organising committee for detailed discussion by each member of the panel. The person who puts the question will have the right of reply after the panel has had its say.
If time permits, there may be an opportunity for further questions or comments from the floor at the end of the debate.
