On a warm evening BMCC decided to bat first and got off to a steady start losing their first wicket in the 3rd over with 14 on the board.
Collins (28*) and Chris Singh (21*) ensured the innings closed on a competitive 155 for 4 off 20 overs.
Semington’s innings got off to a blistering start as opener Ian Jeffers and Simon Tyler plundered the bowling in the early overs. Tyler (15) departed in the 3rd over. But from this point the innings faltered as only Jeffers (50 retired) and Sam Thompson (18) reached double figures. Their innings closed on 110 for 8 off 20 overs.
Veteran wicket keeper Rich Bryant picked up three stumpings, while Russ Collins picked up 3 wickets.
