AN engineering company has celebrated 30 years of business and with plans to grow and develop the company, the future looks exciting for Kristek.
Established in 1987, Kristek offers a complete CNC engineering service, from program and process design through to packaging and inspection.
Managing director, Ben Hellyer said, “Kristek was set up by my father, Peter Hellyer, Richard Scott and Kelvin Stone, and in the 30 years, we’ve been through various economical challenges, but currently we employ around 20 staff and looking for others to join us as we have plans to grow.
“We are a sub-contract CNC machine shop, who specialise in high quality, precise work, working to tight tolerances and working with our customers to help them with their goals. We are currently going for Aerospace accreditation, and plan to work in that market next year.
“There have been changes in the 30 years that the business has been running; the equipment and factory have been modernised over the years, but the ethos is still the same – focus on quality and delivery, a high value product and support to the customer. We strive to deliver excellence, remain positive, invest in equipment and people and to be precise.
“The success of the business is due to the continued investment, always working together as a team and continuously looking to make improvements.”
