ATWORTH’S White Hart has a host of live music nights planned for the coming weeks, starting with a David Bowie covers band this Sunday.
On Sunday 24th April, Rebel Heroes will play at the venue from 4pm. The newly-formed David Bowie covers band, Rebel Heroes, will be playing Bowie’s music from three decades, including songs from Ziggy Stardust, Hunky Dory, The Man Who Sold the World and Aladdin Sane.
Then on Friday 29th April, Custryd Pye will be on stage from 9pm. Cherry picking material from the halcyon days of the 60s and 70s, and sprinkling in a few more contemporary ingredients, they have produced a blend that is both instantly recognisable and suitably original.
There will be more music coming up in May, with a ‘Guitar Greats Tribute’ from 4pm on Sunday 15th May, and rock and blues band No Mean Feat playing from 9pm on Friday 20th May.
