Travel Club members have enjoyed our monthly days out this year and we have been fully booked on every trip, reports the Melksham Community Bus team.
“The Poole trip was oversubscribed and we had a waiting list which meant that unfortunately we had to disappoint some people.
“Future trips are to Portsmouth 12th October, Abergavenny 9th November and Gloucester Quays on 14th December, so book nice and early at Tourist Information Centre, 707424, to avoid missing out.
“Don’t forget our regular Thursday and Friday shopping buses, details and bookings at the Tourist Information Centre.
New driver needed
“Many of you will know Steve, who has been our regular shopper and school bus driver for several years. Steve has recently announced his engagement and intention to move away to be with his new wife in the near future. I am sure you will all join us in congratulating Steve and wishing him well in his new life.
This means we need to replace him and are looking for suitably qualified drivers. If you are looking for part time paid work driving and have some experience of driving mini buses, or larger coaches or buses, please contact George Brown on 07946 854477 to find out more about what we need.
