NORTH Wilts Indoor Bowls Club is looking for youngsters from the age of nine to 17 to come along to try the game of lawn bowls.
Bowls coach Mick Over says, “Please don’t think bowls is just a game your grandparents play. Bowls is played by all ages. You could get your parents and grandparents to play with you as a team.
“In the first instance we need juniors from the age of nine to 17 to come along to North Wilts Indoor Bowls Club and try out for free the first two sessions. After that it’s only £2 a session.
“Each session takes place on Saturday mornings from 9am until 11am.
“The only kit you need is a pair of trainers or flat soled shoes. All other kit will be supplied. Parents are welcome to stay and watch or go and do the Christmas shopping, as long as they are back by eleven.”
