CATS Action Trust in Melksham, would like to say a big thank you for all the support from the local community and encourages people to keep giving great donations.
Ruth Rixon, who is the manger of the charity shop said, “We always need fantastic things to sell and really appreciate the effort people go to, to donate.
“Just a couple of bags of good quality donations are much appreciated. But if you’re not sure what you can donate, please come and ask us. ”
Ruth encourages people to bring items in that will sell well in the shop. “The costs for unwanted items having to be removed from the shop is rising so we really need items that aren’t broken and don’t have pieces missing. They are hard to sell and so they end up in the bin.
“We are a local organisation that solely relies on our fantastic volunteers. All the money goes directly to the cats and now more than ever, they need the money. With rising vet bills and other complicated cases, we help them.
“We are so grateful for the items donated by the community and also to the local businesses for their support.”
