THE White Hart at Atworth is raising money for Guide Dogs UK next week.
On Saturday 6th April from 9am to 11am, the pub will be hosting its regular charity breakfast.
Pub landlords, Nathan and Kirsty Cortilla, say, “Come along for breakfast, a bacon butty, a cuppa or just a browse of our books and DVDs!
“And don’t forget to bring along all your furry friends to help show support! We will donate £1 from every breakfast, and 50p from every breakfast roll. Free tea and coffee – just leave a donation. There will be books and DVDs for a £1.”
Alongside the charity breakfast, the pub will be hosting their second swishing party from Saturday 6th April from 12pm until Sunday 7th April, 8pm.
Nathan and Kirsty say, “After the success of last year’s event where we raised £414 for Atworth Youth Club, Brownies, Guides and Chuchfields School pool; we thought we’d bring you another!
“This year, raising money for Guide Dogs UK, we’re back. With £2 entry and most clothes £1, why not pop down for a browse?
Having a spring clear out? We’re taking all donations now! From kids to adults, to shoes and scarfs, we want it all! Clothes must be in good all-round condition.”
