A charity event hosted by Melksham Lions Club will take place next month to help the Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service purchase a new blood bike.
The event will take place at the Assembly Hall on Saturday 27th September at 7.30pm, featuring performances by In the Shadows of Santana and Rock Choir Wiltshire, with a fundraising raffle during the interval.
The Melksham Lions Club set a goal of raising £16,000 this year to purchase a new motorbike for the charity Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Blood Bike, which provides a free out-of-hours motorcycle courier service to hospitals in the South West.
“As part of our efforts, this fundraising evening of local talent aims to entertain whilst allowing us to go ‘full throttle’ towards our goal,” said director of Melksham Lions Club, Paul Carter.
“We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for an evening of vocal and instrumental hits.”
Tickets can be purchased either online or from the Melksham Assembly Hall for £15.
