THE Tavern in Melksham Market Place is to host a Children in Need charity fundraising night with entertainment and prizes on offer.
The event will take place on this year’s fundraising night, on Friday 14th November, and includes a raffle with £500 worth of prizes all donated by local businesses.
From 9pm-11pm karaoke will take place, with a free shot for every singer and then the party starts with DJ Stevie and DJ Vix playing club classics and cheese. Entry is free all evening with a donation to Children in Need all that is asked. On top of that, a free vodka jelly will be provided upon entry.
Other fundraising ideas on the night include £1 donated to Children in Need for every Corkys bought and prizes will be given for best fancy dress.
Owner David Barrow said, “It will be a great night with lots of special offers and prizes available thanks to businesses across Melksham. Come along and support us in raising money for a great cause.
