Many parents and carers struggle with the concept of Halloween and don’t want their children trick or treating or wearing scary masks and costumes.
Melksham Messy Church have come up with an alternative – Children’s Light Party. Organisers say, “Light Party is a great alternative to Halloween, and we would love to welcome you to celebrate light and love.
“Light Party is a fun and free family-orientated event that promotes positive values in a safe environment. Come along for party food, stories, music and celebration, games, messy craft and activities. Please come dressed in bright colours!
“Light Party is on Thursday 31st October from 5.30-7pm at Queensway Chapel. All children must be accompanied by an adult. See you there!
