THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall in the coming weeks.
On Friday 13th December, the Assembly Hall hosts its annual Christmas Party, and this year the theme is 80s vs 90s.
Promoters say, “This year two great decades of music go head to head on the dance floor. Brought to you by two fantastic DJs, this is not to be missed! Fancy dress and dance battles are encouraged.” General admission tickets – £12.
On Tuesday 17th December, Neil Sands and his Christmas Memories show returns. Promoters say, “Neil Sands and his wonderful cast are back with their biggest ever production of their hit show, filled with more songs and even more stunning costumes, bringing you an unforgettable afternoon of festive nostalgia, taking us all back to a time when Christmas really was the most wonderful time of the year. Be transported back on a yuletide sleigh-ride filled with over 60 all-time favourite Christmas songs and carols.” Tickets £13 standard, £11 concessions.
On Thursday 19th December and Friday 20th December, Rapunzel the pantomime will get audiences in the mood for Christmas with some thigh-slapping entertainment.
Promoters say, “Rapunzel’s upbringing. When a child is born, the witch steals it away and names her Rapunzel after the rampion. Rapunzel is incredibly beautiful, so when Rapunzel turns 12 years old, the witch locks her away in a tower in the middle of the wood with no way in or out except for a very small window at the top. Over time her hair grows and she attracts the attention of a handsome prince. Does the prince save Rapunzel? Come along to the pantomime to find out.”
