FOREST Community Centre have an exciting line-up of events planned in the run up to Christmas, which include a Christmas market, a children’s Christmas party, bingo and even a special Christmas race night.
Chair of the centre, Jack Oatley said “We are more than happy to welcome people back to our community centre! The organisation is such an important asset to the town so it’s nice to see things slowly get back to normal and we’ve been preparing fully to welcome people back safely.”
“For the Christmas market itself, the more stalls we have available the better so please call the numbers listed if this interests you.
“We’re just excited that we can provide for the community again. Things are getting back to normal for us now as we’re open for our usual Wednesday bingo, as well as Melksham’s skittle league on a Friday evening. Our venue is also available to hire for any parties or events, please just call 07708 465 856 for more information.”

Saturday 27th November 11am – 3pm is the Christmas Market. Come see Father Christmas, take part in the tombola or craft stalls or simply indulge yourself in the variety of hot food and sweet things available. Stalls are £10 each – to book please call 07787 839 538
Saturday 11th December from 7.30pm onwards is the Christmas Race Night. Bet on the horses and try your luck with the raffle.
Monday 21st December 6pm – 9pm is the children’s Christmas party. For toddlers up to 14 yrs. There will be plenty to eat and drink and even a chance to meet Father Christmas himself! Each child will receive a gift and must be accompanied by an adult. The disco is a popular event with limited numbers. Tickets will be made available from 1st December – 16th, please ring Edna on 01225 705 378.
Wednesday 23rd December is the Christmas bingo. Doors open 6:30pm and eyes down 7:45pm – all are welcome.
Sunday 26th December – the centre will be open from 2pm onwards.
