FOLLOWING the very successful free Christmas meal that Queensway volunteers ran last year despite Covid and all its problems, they are now preparing for a repeat performance.
Rob Lloyd – one of the Queensway leaders said, “Come and join us for a delicious free Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day at Queensway Chapel – You will be assured of a warm welcome, pleasant surroundings and some festive carols to start the proceedings.
“We were so amazed at the generosity of our volunteers who gave up their time and the local businesses who helped make it a special day for many who were on their own or simply wanted to be part of a big family gathering.
“Who knows what this winter holds? We hope our time together will be a light in a dark Winter.
