With just under 13 weeks until Christmas, Melksham Tourist Information Centre is stocking up on festive season supplies.
Customers visiting the Tourist Information Centre from the 1st October will find that Cards for Good Causes together with the usual supply of Christmas stocking fillers, wrapping paper, etc. will be on sale for those wishing to get ahead before the rush really starts. Christmas stamps will also be available a little later, so look out for their arrival soon.
The Tourist Information Centre is open from 9.30am-4.30pm, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9.30am-1pm on Wednesdays and 10am-1pm every Saturday.
Volunteers are always needed to help serve the townspeople, so anyone interested should contact 01225 700782, but please note that you need to be physically fit and preferably computer-literate as nowadays much of the business at the centre is conducted using modern technology, although some training can be given.
