Celebrate the life of Cilla Black in a high-energy production coming to the Assembly Hall.
Cilla & the Swinging 60s will take place on Sunday 16th August at 4pm, celebrating the life and music of the late Cilla Black with an afternoon of classic songs, dance routines and nostalgic entertainment.
Starring Sandy Smith, alongside a cast of dancers, the production features many of Cilla Black’s best-loved hits, including Anyone Who Had a Heart, Alfie and You’re My World. Audiences can also enjoy songs made famous by some of the biggest stars of the decade, including Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Petula Clark and The Beatles, with favourites such as Shout, Dancing in the Street and Proud Mary.
