Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Melksham.
At approximately 6.37pm on 22nd September 2016, a 50-year-old man was cycling his bike along Spa Road with another cyclist when they crossed over the roundabout at the junction with Snowberry Lane.
A Vauxhall Astra was travelling along Snowberry Lane approaching the roundabout when the vehicle collided with the cyclist.
The cyclist sustained a serious head injury and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information in relation to the collision should call PC Rich Hatch of the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
