THE Pig and Whistle has bingo, its monthly bike meet and its breakfast club, all coming up in August.
On Sunday 7th August, the Pig and Whistle is hosting its regular bingo event, from 4pm to 7pm.
The pub says, “An afternoon of great fun, games and a raffle with lots of prizes to be won. Prizes have all been donated by local businesses. All proceeds raised will be donated to local charity Dorothy House. Eyes down at 4pm – see you there!”
It’s the monthly bike meet on Thursday 18th August, for all 2 wheeler enthusiasts, from 7pm to 9pm.
The bike meet is held on the third Thursday of each month. The pub says, “Come on down to chat about all things bikes, grab a bite to eat, a beverage or just a chance to get out on your bike for a social. For more information please get in contact with The Pig: info@pigandwhistlemelksham.co.uk.”
Next up is the breakfast club on Saturday 20th August, from 10am to 2pm.
“Throughout the year here at The Pig we hold breakfast clubs to raise awareness for local groups and to collect items for our local food bank,” says the pub. “We will have our trolley open for collecting any non-perishable goods to pass on to the local food bank. Tea and coffee is available for a donation.
“So join us for a full English or just a breakfast bap (veggie and kids options available) and a catch up.”
