THE Community Bus had another successful trip, this time to Cardiff on Saturday 10th August.
John Ruderman reports, “Once again the weather was challenging, but everyone had a good day out. Our next trip is a day out in Poole on Saturday 14th September. Please book your places at the Tourist Information Office as usual.
“Don’t forget we also offer shopper services to local residents. The Thursday morning bus can pick you up from your home and take you to a local town for shopping. It goes to Trowbridge, Devizes or Chippenham on a rotation basis you will be able to spend a couple of hours shopping before re-joining the bus for the return to your home. Once home, the driver will help to carry your shopping in if you need.
“The Friday morning bus can also pick you up from home and take you to a local supermarket, usually Sainsbury’s. These services are bookable at the Tourist Information Centre on 707424.”
