Residents came together for a community Christmas lunch on Sunday 7th December at Spencer Sports and Social Club.
The lunch was enjoyed by 60 residents and organised by local resident Sue Mortimer. The food was provided by Craig and Matty from Evie’s Kitchen and several volunteers helped with the smooth running of the event.

Sue said, “They once again did us proud with their fab cooking. I would like to say a big thank you to all the amazing volunteers Sylvia Hardy, Jane Poole, Christine Thomson and Sarah Williams-Martin who help make the day run smoothly and without them the day would not have happened.
“Big thanks to Coral for making the table decorations that were admired by many. People were already asking if they could book for next year.”

Next year, Sue is hoping to hold a lunch at the Melksham Assembly Hall on Sunday 13th December 2026.
