Have you got time for victims of crime?
Victim Support, a national charity offering help to victims of crime, is looking to recruit local people to be ‘victim support volunteers’ in Wiltshire.
The charity will be holding a special event in Devizes on Saturday 26th November to give people more information about getting involved. No previous experience is necessary to be a volunteer, but enthusiasm, creativity and commitment are essential. The roles involve supporting people who are affected by crime.
The charity is totally independent of the police and courts, and last year offered support to nearly a million people.
