A night of dancing to live rock ’n’ roll music is coming to Melksham Assembly Hall on Saturday 24th October.
Melksham Rock ‘n’ Roll Club will host an evening of Leroc, modern jive and rock ’n’ roll, featuring a live performance by The Mystery Train Riders.
The band will play rock ’n’ roll classics by artists including Elvis, Eddie Cochran and Matchbox.
Formed in 2023, the band features Chris Blakey on vocals and rhythm guitar, Dan Garland on lead guitar, Michael McGill on double bass and Paul McGill on drums.
DJ Paul Stamps will also play music throughout the evening.
Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £15 each. They are available on the door or in advance from Melksham Tourist Information Centre.
Event organiser Geoff Mitcham said, “I’ve been looking forward to this night since I first booked the band over 18 months ago. At that time, they weren’t so well known in our area but suddenly their popularity took off. So if you fancy a night of first-class rock ’n’ roll come and join us.”
