A NEW music festival coming to Melksham is only three months away and tickets are still available to purchase.
Shambles Festival, which will be held at the King George V playing field, on Saturday 20th May from 12pm to 10pm, is being organised by Melksham DJ, James Wilkins, with the backing of the town council.
The event has the capacity for 500 people and has been described by James as an ‘inclusive community event’ showcasing arts and culture from local talent, with an emphasis on dance music.
James said, “Everything is now booked in and confirmed for the event. The festival will feature a dance music stage featuring a variety of DJs; a big-top festival tent; delicious local food vendors Veli’cious and the Rolling Stoves; a bar located in a marquee serving a range of drinks; and an outdoor festival-decorated seating area.
“We have now sold out of the first three tiers of tickets. Remaining tickets are now on sale at www.shamblesfestival.co.uk. “
All ticket holders must be aged 18+ and for more information visit www. Shamblesfestival.co.uk/
