Drivers warned to avoid black bags

MELKSHAM Area Board has issued a warning to local drivers to avoid black bags in the road on the A361 between Seend and Devizes.
The warning reads, “Please could all motorists who travel along the A361 Seend to Devizes road during evening hours, be mindful of suspicious objects that have been concealed in black bags and are being placed in the middle of the highway. The objects are causing significant damage to the vehicles.
“Any suspicious vehicles that are in the area at the same time please try and take registration number and call police on 999 as soon as possible.”
