RIVER Mead School is celebrating Easter this year with an Easter Trail on Saturday 30th March at King George V Park.
For the trail, classes have painted 20 wooden Easter eggs, which we will be hidden around the park with clues on. For £2.50 per trail sheet, children can hunt the eggs, crack the clue and win a prize.
“The carnival queen will also be making an appearance as well as the Bulldog Bouncers with their bouncy castle, a football shoot-out, and your favourite Paw Patrol characters,” says Jess from the Friends of River Mead. “We will also be selling Easter crafts, sweets, glitter tattoos and more!
“River Mead School is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. This event is just the start of our journey (as the Friends of River Mead) towards engaging with our local community and building stronger ties within our school.
“We hugely hope the Melksham community join us at this event, as we work towards the long-term growth and sustainability of River Mead School.
“We want to create more opportunities that benefit and enrich the lives of both our students and the wider community. A big thank you to our sponsor, CMD Recruitment, for their generous support in making this event possible.
“Join us for what promises to be the first of many memorable events!
