THE White Hart at Atworth is hosting an Elvis tribute act and its charity breakfast club in the coming weeks for all the community to get involved with.
This Sunday, 1st September, the White Hart welcomes a Elvis tribute act to the stage to entertain the crowds. The performer says-, “Taking you on a journey through all three decades of Elvis’ outstanding career. With the highest quality backing tracks made by Just Awesome Karaoke, I also use high quality lighting, sound equipment and authentic costumes.
“I will bring Elvis’ music to a new generation whilst evoking happy memories for those who have already experienced the music of the most talented performer of all time.”
On Saturday 7th September the pub will be hosting a charity breakfast alongside a ‘Pre Loved Kids Sale’ to raise money for CLIC Sargent. Organisers Kirsty and Nathan Cortilla say, “Breakfast is from 9am to 11.30am, come and grab brekkie, before browsing our ‘Pre Loved Kids Sale’. Tea, coffee and cake on donation and for every full English brekkie sold, The White Hart will donate £1 to CLIC Sargant.
The ‘Pre Loved Kids Sale’ will run from 9am to 3pm. We will be holding our ‘Pre Loved’ sale in our alley with all monies raised from the sale for CLIC Sargent too! From clothes, games, books, toys and more. Come and grab a bargain and help raise much needed funds.’
Also coming up is four-piece band Plan of Action on Friday 13th September.
