ENTRIES are still open for what has been described as probably Wiltshire’s most picturesque run – The Great Chalfield 10K.
This year’s event takes place on Thursday 23rd June, starting at 7.30pm, and will be the eleventh time that the race has been staged to raise funds for Broughton Gifford & Holt Scout Group.
The race is expected to attract over 200 runners and starts on the Common in Broughton Gifford, before taking runners on an undulating route passing Stonar School, Holt Manor and Great Chalfield Manor.
Prizes are on offer to the first three men and first three ladies, as well as for the leading runner in several age categories, and all finishers will receive a medal to mark their athletic endeavour.
