A PUBLIC exhibition will be held in Shaw next week to show proposals for a battery compound planned for the substation near the village.
Plans will be shown to the public at the Beeches Village Hall in Shaw on Monday 20th February between 5pm and 8pm.
The company, Stratera Energy is planning to install two batteries with a capacity of up to 49.99MW at Melksham sub-station, off Westlands Lane between Shaw and Beanacre, to meet power supply demands.
