Every month of the year an exhibition of colourful local art is mounted at the Art House Cafe in Melksham. This month two regulars, Val Coyne and Chris Rowland, are joined by new exhibitors John Hughes and Matt Gibson.
If you don’t yet know about the cafe, you will enjoy the experience. Drop in for a coffee, cake, hot food, sandwiches and much more. Read about the artists and admire their work. Much of it is for sale at reasonable prices. It is a great place with a warm atmosphere, perfect for meeting friends, right in the centre of town and with parking close by.
The Art House Cafe Gallery is so popular that it is booked up for the whole of this year with several exciting new artists showing their work, as well as local art groups from Bulkington, Hilperton and Lacock.
Throughout the year a wide variety of painting styles and subjects is on display. Staying true to the principle of showing affordable art by local artists and recycling the profits made into the local charity community with many organisations getting the benefit, the Art House Cafe deserves your support. So get down there, rest your weary shopping feet and take a look at some interesting local art.
