Andy York Photography officially closed on 31st March, after a leaving party at the Littlebrook Centre on Saturday 25th March.
The couple held the farewell party, with the well-known Antigua Joe performing a mix of reggae, ska, calypso and Caribbean style music, as they said goodbye to the community after 31 years of the town’s support.
Andy York Photography owned by Andy and Christine York, started in 1992 and was based at the Littlebrook Centre for 17 years; The services they have provided over the years included photography, passport and ID photographs, photograph restoration, photography workshops, picture framing and selling Andy’s artwork and more recently, selling garden ornaments.
They have also made the annual Melksham Memories calendars, collecting and restoring images of Melksham’s past to raise funds for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
