OVERNIGHT road closures will begin next week as work continues to alter the layout and introduce traffic signals at Melksham’s Farmers Roundabout on the A350,
Closures will take place overnight between 7pm and 6am.
From Monday 22nd July to Thursday 25th July, the A3102 and B3109 will be closed overnight – further lane closures and temporary traffic lights will also be in operation in the area during the works.
From Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August the A350 Western Way will be closed overnight – lane closures will be in place during the closures to manage traffic in the area.
From Monday 5th August to Wednesday 7th August the A365 will be closed overnight – further lane closures and temporary traffic lights will also be in operation in the area during the works.
Wiltshire Council say, “As we reach the summer months there are a number of road closures planned to allow for resurfacing to be undertaken as part of this scheme. The road closures are required due to the size of the machinery undertaking the work, to protect road users and also to protect the team undertaking the work.
“All closures will be clearly signed with suitable diversion routes put in place. Information will also be available on the variable message signs which are located on all approaches to Farmers roundabout. We will also be posting further messages on our twitter account @WiltshireRoads.”
