THE Melksham Lions have confirmed that Santa will be coming to town as he prepares for the big day next month.
The Lions’ Christmas Float will be visiting various locations around Melksham from Saturday 2nd December until Christmas Eve, giving all children, young and old, the chance to meet everyone’s favourite bearded-man.
Speaking to Melksham News, Father Christmas said, “Regrettably, as last year, Melksham Lions are unable to escort me around local estates, but I will be visiting many supermarkets in the town and I will be at the Melksham Lights switch-on, giving people plenty of time to come and see me to tell me what they want for Christmas and of course donate to charity.”
Father Christmas and the Lions will be at the following locations:
Saturday 2nd December: Melksham Christmas Lights switch-on
Sunday 3rd December: Leekes – 10.30am-4pm
Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th December: Asda – 10am-4pm
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th December: Sainsbury’s – 10am-4pm
Saturday 23rd December: Co-operative Food (Blackmore Road) – 10am-4pm
Sunday 24th December: Lidl – 10am-4pm.
