A MELKSHAM author has had the third book in his trilogy series published. 
John Michael Doyle’s latest book, ‘Shake Hands with a Connaught Ranger’, is the last in a series based around the First World War and the years following. The book follows ‘The Last Coachman’ and ‘This Bitter Land’.
John said, “The third book is just as exciting as the first two and I hope it does just as well. The idea behind the books come as a result of me tracing my family history when I come across some interesting stories from around the First World War. This sparked my interest and since then, I have been working on the trilogy.
“The story is fictional but based around what was going on during the war. I hope readers enjoy it as much as they did the first two.”
